Across the nation and now in Philadelphia a new scam has surfaced, fraudulent Locksmiths. |
One of those companies is named Dependable Locks, which operatesout of New York. They have some how registeredhundreds of local numbers with fake addresses to manipulate the yellow pages and the internet. They appear to be a local locksmith, with a local store front, when in reality they are a ring of unsavory charactersmany who operateout of cars. When you call them they give you one price on the phone and often tell you it will be a short wait. However, many consumers have discovered that the prices jump dramaticallywhen they show up, sometimes hours later.
